Check out the DIY-inspired inside of this Midwest farmhouse

Over ten years ago, Emily moved from sunny Southern California to "America's Dairyland", Wisconsin. However, she did not let the change of scenery cramp her decorating style. As seen in the pictures below, Emily has taken a bit of the color and sunshine of SoCal and infused it into her farmhouse style. Splashes of color and swatches of chevron can be seen throughout the home, from the living room to the master bedroom. In her family-friendly approach to decorating she has honed her skills in DIY art projects and budget-friendly solutions. Emily really understands the needs and desires of the regular homeowner who longs for luxury but doesn't necessarily have the budget for it. From the small entrance to the cozy kitchen, much of the layout in this home is highly relatable for the average homeowner. This is why Emily's blog and Instagram account, 'Our House Now A Home' is gaining in popularity. As you scroll through the images below you are bound to find ideas and inspiration for your own farmhouse style.
