Be inspired by the impressive transformation of this Minnesota farmhouse

Painting your home's interior white, while wrangling a small herd of children, is a project for those who truly love white, I mean, really love white. For Amy E Hartman, of the IG account of the same name, this is just the type of adventure she is willing to undertake.
Her home is a sea of white, offset by small pops of color, a classic farmhouse color scheme. She and her husband purchased this Minnesota farmhouse 6 years ago when it was still in the thrall of 80's decor. In fact the home itself, while it looks to come from a classic era, was only built in 1986.

Amy's design choices and particular painting tendencies are proof that anything, even an 80's relic, can be completely transformed into something fresh and contemporary. Carefully chosen accents of wood and black provide warmth and contrast in each of the home's spaces. And a simplistic decorating philosophy keeps the atmosphere airy and light. The Hartman home is one to remember.
