Tour the impressive farmhouse that leaves no doubt – country living is the best

Access to views and a simple interior design. This was the goal for the Gothic Revival Farmhouse.
When creating the Gothic Revival Farmhouse, RTA Studio Residential Architects relied on a theme of simplicity and sought to take advantage of the gorgeous scenery surrounding the property. They seem to have achieved these goals. The interior used clean lines, basic (but not boring) colors, and natural materials such as wood and stone, while every room has a large window that opens to the landscape.
While the theme of simplicity is seen throughout the home, each room has its own individual character. The living room, for example, is dominated by the visually-powerful stone and brick fireplace. The bedrooms, on the other hand, have a warm, relaxed appearance with light colors and contemporary decorations.

The country-home theme of the entire property is established as you work your way up the drive. Surrounded by trees, pasture, and stone landscaping, the home has the quintessential style of a farmhouse getaway.
Inside the home, your eye is immediately drawn to the large fireplace at the center of the living room. Combining natural stone at the base and brownish-red brick running to the top, the fireplace looks warm and inviting. With a fire going on a winter evening, this is likely the most popular room in the home!
An open floor plan connects the family room with a dining area flooded with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows.
The kitchen elegantly combines clean white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and the butcher block island countertop.
This bedroom seems to break the white-and-wood theme that runs throughout the home. The warm faded yellow walls help the pictures and decorations stand out.
The bathroom has the same warm appearance as the bedroom and uses a unique bowl sink and wall-mounted faucet.
The back porch looks like a wonderful place for reading and relaxation. With a white railing, tall pillars, and wood decking, it has a classic farmhouse appeal.
What farmhouse would be complete without a horse or two? This pasture helps the farmhouse stay true to its country roots.
