Let this freshly renovated farmhouse impress you with its resplendent interior design

In its simplest terms, great architecture is comparable to the perfect pair of jeans. Both provide a solid foundation that, when executed properly, can accommodate a variety of styles and color palettes. Upon seeing their future home for the first time, Emily of the Instagram account Eleven Gables was not going to let it slip through her fingers. While the home was occupied at the time, Emily made the gutsy decision to present the owner with her phone number and told her to call if they were ever considering selling. Sure enough a few years later, in 2006, Emily got the call, and the rest is, well, history.
Emily is a gifted artist with an eye for interior design. In fact, she has recently achieved the status of a Better Homes and Gardens Stylemaker. With all of these tools in her design arsenal, it seemed inevitable that she would be the one to transform this classic farmhouse into the jewel that it has become. Nothing was left untouched, as the home had deteriorated in the years since Emily first laid eyes on it. The two-storey exterior was refreshed with new casement windows, white paint, and new shingles. Moreover, the interior received a similar treatment of paint, paint, and more paint. The dark wood trim, much to her husband's chagrin, was made light and bright. The kitchen underwent an impressive transformation as well with custom cabinetry, light stone countertops, and a stainless steel farmhouse sink. Throughout the home, a collection of blue and white accessories add a pop of color and add a touch of French country charm.

Renovations are not for the faint of heart, but Emily has successfully shown that when done right, the results are without compare.
