See how a pair of house flippers transformed their old farmhouse into a true dream

When Nick and Laurie purchased this neglected home near Baltimore City, Maryland, they understood that it was going to take a tremendous amount of hard work and dedication to transform it into their "forever farmhouse." However, with their collective experience in renovating and owning rental property, and Nick's knowledge in construction, they had a great foundation to work from. The original home was in rough shape, to say the least. It was shabby, dark and in disrepair. The exterior was falling apart, and the interior wasn't much better. Without missing a beat, they quickly got to work remodeling the home into the "Glam Farmhouse" it is now.
The haggard exterior has been replaced with fresh new siding, as well as the addition of a garage. The interior is hardly recognizable with its light and bright color scheme. The kitchen was given a complete overhaul with creamy white cabinets, long runs of counter space and stainless steel appliances. A spacious island sits between the kitchen and the dining room and provides additional space for meal prep or as a spot for casual dining. Gorgeous hardwood floors extend through the entranceway, kitchen and dining room, whereas plush brown carpeting creates a cozy atmosphere in the living room.
