Come inside a gorgeously renovated farmhouse with lovely soft warm tones

If you were to take a Sunday drive through South Dakota, you may stumble upon this hidden gem. '505 Sunday Drive' is the moniker of an Instagram account where the owner, Maggie, details her home decor stylings. She and her husband are co-owners of a body shop where she spends the majority of her week. However, Maggie's eye for farmhouse decor and vintage finds definitely indicate that she is gifted in many areas outside the family business.
The front facade of this cozy, two-storey home features a well-proportioned porch just large enough to fit a pair of chairs and a small table. Painted a soft sea blue, the front door is immediately welcoming, especially when adorned with a coordinating wreath of greenery.

The heart of the home is the builder-grade turned classic farmhouse kitchen. Maggie painted the red birch cabinets black and white; black on the lowers, white on the uppers. The boring laminate countertop was swapped out for a richly-stained butcher block surface.
Throughout the home, details like shiplap walls, a stone fireplace, and barnboard details add character and depth. Stained hardwood floors flow through the kitchen, dining area and attached sitting room. This light and bright open concept space has benefited from the removal of a wall and the addition of a window. At the far end of the sitting room is a welcoming window seat that is flanked on either side by tall, built-in bookcases.
With so many warm and inviting rooms, '505 Sunday Drive' is sure to become a favorite of those who love neutral color schemes, warm woods, and farmhouse details.
