A young Tennessee couple gives a worn out farmhouse an impeccable makeover

Embarking on the journey to transform a dilapidated home into something special is not for the faint of heart or the style impaired. Thankfully, Cole Williams, of the Instagram account Cole Worlld, is has spades of style and a willingness to put in the hardwork. After purchasing this quaint 1950's abode in Tennessee, Cole and her husband set to work tearing down walls, repairing hidden shiplap and applying multiple coats of paint.
A self-described "style mutt", Cole has combined elements of farmhouse design, think Joanna Gaines, with industrial accessories and a few modern touches as well. With all of those styles combined you would think that the flow of the home would feel choppy and unorganized, but it doesn't.

By maintaining a color palette of soft grays, warm taupes and lots of white accents, the entire residence is cohesive and well thought out. A simple selection of decorative items ensures that each room feels spacious and uncluttered. This type of decorating is much easier on the eyes as it allows the viewer to take in the whole room without becoming overwhelmed by the amount of clutter. And as Cole is also a new mom, it will make cleaning up after her little a breeze.
