Step inside a sun-drenched Craftsman home with a particularly gorgeous bathroom

This California Craftsman home is fairly new, but it lacks none of the traditional charms of an older Craftsman. Built by FGY Architects, the home measures a spacious 5700 square feet (530 square meters) and is painted a lovely green color with cream trim.
The charming exterior features include a large covered porch with exposed rafter tails as well as a number of partially paned windows. Tapered columns and a brick chimney add to the decidedly Craftsman-like feel of the exterior.

The front door was created in the traditional craftsman style, with a partially paned window separated from the rest of the door by a large piece of trim.
With its cheerful color scheme and large windows, the living room looks like the perfect place to kick back and relax. The whole room is gorgeous, but the highlight is the beautifully tiled fireplace with lovely woodwork on the mantle.
Another gorgeous fireplace is found in the formal dining area, which also features a large hutch that provides plenty of storage space. Make sure to note the amazing box beam ceiling!
The spacious kitchen is open to the dining area, and it provides extra seating in the form of an eating bar at the island.
Stainless steel appliances contrast nicely with the gorgeous white cabinets and the tiled backsplash.
This beautiful staircase leads up to the second floor of the home, which feels nice and open thanks to the railing that runs the length of the hallway. Small windows up near the ceiling add to the feeling of openness.
Here we have one of the bathrooms, which features a calming light blue color on the walls.
A freestanding tub is tucked away in a little nook with two partially paned windows to let in plenty of natural light.
To keep the front entryway clutter-free, this spacious mudroom features several coat hooks as we ll as plenty of built-in shelving. A built-in desk is the perfect way to keep everything even more organized!
