Tour this dreamy historic fixer-upper

The Morrow House, a historic home in Waco, Texas, defines the true meaning of Southern hospitality. Designed to be a dream escape for those who can appreciate a good fixer-upper, the house offers historic charm and renovated perfection down to the last detail. Original pavestones lead up to the house, the very first home built in the Sanger Heights neighborhood in 1886. Handmade lattice on the porch, stately windows and decorative trim date back more than a century to when the home was first built by an Eastern European immigrant, Jacob Levinski.
The inside is equally as magical, featuring soaring ceilings, original pocket doors and restored shiplap throughout. Completely remodeled in 2017, the house was featured on HGTV’s show "Fixer Upper" and toured by Chip and Joanna themselves.

The kitchen is truly the heart of the home, fully equipped with Jenn-Air appliances. Sleek white subway tile, clean white cabinetry and white shiplap walls provide a clean palette for stainless steel appliances and brass hardware and faucet. A large apron-front sink is accompanied by ample prep space on the center island, with twin pendant lights hanging above.
A narrow dining area features a long table for eight, with brushed brass pendant lights hanging from the ceiling. A vintage mugshot of Frank Sinatra serves both as decor and a conversation starter.
The house comfortably sleeps eight. One of two master suites, this bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom. An antique wrought iron chandelier hangs offers a crisp white palette to let the sunlight shine through the original windows.
In the second master suite, full-size windows create an open and airy aesthetic. A vintage-look king size bed offers comfortable sleeping and charm to spare, decorated by a candelabra chandelier.
The third bedroom features two full-sized beds and a private bathroom. Indigo linens add a pop of color, grounded by a hide rug underfoot. The Vintage boots hanging on the wall are from Simple Things Furniture.
In the living room, an ornate chandelier from Anthropologie steals the show. Ample seating includes a vintage tufted sofa and a Restoration Hardware queen-sized sleeper sofa. Large bay windows and custom-made shutters allow light to flood into the space, brightened by white walls and a shiplap ceiling.
