Minimalist would be the best word to describe the exterior of the house as it is painted predominantly white. The porch, which has a standing seam metal roof, has been decorated blue and white for the Christmas season. Several lanterns adorn the porch steps.
The plain gray sectional couch in the living room matches the plain gray rug spread out on top of the hardwood floor. A small round side table holds a potted plant, giving a touch of greenery to the space. The white geometric patterned ceiling adds interest to the room.
The dining area features a small wooden round table with four high back wooden chairs. A patterned gray rug defines the eating area. Open shelves against the wall on one side of the arched entryway serve a double purpose of displaying as well as storing plates, while a gray cabinet on the other side provides added storage space.
A long white rectangular table serves as the kitchen's focal point. The eight black chairs surrounding it provide a sharp contrast. A simple black-rimmed lantern hanging right above the table serves as a distinctive accent piece.
A comfortable bed is essential for a good night's sleep. Add a few soft pillows in different shapes and sizes with patterned pillowcases as you settle in to relax. You are now set for a restful night.

This bathroom is a testament to how choosing to use just two primary colors in a room can make a space look elegant. The gray vanity with the marble top provides a subtle contrast to the white subway tile backsplash.
